ABOUT THE PROJECT
This studio portrait project was created for chef Yannis Manikis to present his professional identity through a direct, restrained photographic approach. The session focused on presence, expression and character, without introducing unnecessary visual elements.
Yannis Manikis has held senior culinary roles across international hotel brands and has been featured in industry publications such as Hotelier Middle East.
Production focus
The session used a simple studio setup focused on composition, expression and presence.
By removing unnecessary elements, the portraits keep attention on the subject and allow character and professionalism to come through naturally.
Use & Communication
The final portraits were created for Yannis Manikis’ professional communication across digital platforms, editorial features and collaborations. The series presents him with a consistent, understated visual identity suited to both professional and editorial use.
Yannis Manikis has also collaborated with our studio on a narrative chef film.
