Mira Me Hotel | Boutique Hotel Project in Athens
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Mira Me is a boutique hotel in central Athens, created through the renovation of an existing neoclassical building on Ermou Street. The architectural and interior design by a+ architects draws on the character of an Athenian residence, restoring elements of the building’s past while introducing a contemporary hospitality language.
The result is deliberately intimate in scale, with seven individually presented rooms and suites, warm material choices and a strong connection to the surrounding historic centre. Our photography and film production focused on the relationship between the restored architecture, the interiors and the atmosphere of the hotel as a whole.
Production focus
The photography needed to preserve the character of the renovation while still presenting the hotel clearly as a place to stay. Particular attention was given to the restored architectural elements, the warmer brown and earth-toned interiors, material detail and the transition between older features and contemporary additions.
Framing was kept precise enough to explain the rooms and their proportions, while natural and interior light were used to retain the more intimate atmosphere of the property. The film extended the same approach through movement, connecting the rooms, common areas and details into a fuller sense of the guest experience.
Use & Communication
The final photography and film were created for the hotel’s website, digital communication and wider presentation. Together, they provide a consistent visual record of the renovation, showing both the architectural identity of the building and the more personal scale of the hotel.
The material presents Mira Me not simply through individual rooms, but through the combination of architecture, interiors, location and atmosphere that defines the property within central Athens.
This project forms part of our wider Athens work, documenting contemporary boutique hospitality developments across the city.
