Divine Cave Experience | Boutique Hospitality Project in Santorini
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Divine Cave Experience is a cave-built boutique hotel in Imerovigli, Santorini, shaped directly by the island’s volcanic terrain.
The photography focused on the carved interiors, curved spatial transitions and the way natural light moves through the property, showing the hotel as both an architectural space and a lived hospitality environment.
Production focus
The cave-built architecture required a different approach to framing. Curved walls, irregular transitions and changing ceiling heights make scale difficult to read through conventional viewpoints, so each composition was chosen to preserve the continuity of the space and avoid distortion.
Natural light was treated as part of the architecture itself, with timing and exposure used to reveal depth, surface texture and the transitions between interior and exterior areas.
Use & Communication
The final images were created for the hotel’s website, booking platforms and wider digital communication. The series presents Divine Cave Experience through the qualities that make the property distinctive: its carved architecture, material character, privacy and relationship with the Santorini landscape.
Across the set, the emphasis remains on giving potential guests a clear sense of the spaces while preserving the atmosphere that comes from the hotel’s cave-built form.
