So Good Magazine | Pastry Editorial Project
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project was created for So Good, one of the most respected international publications dedicated to professional pastry. The editorial presented refined pastry creations by Nicolas Nikolakopoulos, Callebaut ambassador and Southeast Europe’s first Chocolate Master, with a visual approach designed for the demands of a high-level print publication while preserving the precision and character of each creation.
Creative Direction
The brief demanded visual clarity, control and a strong editorial point of view. Pastry at this level is defined by detail, surface, texture, structure and balance, and each of those qualities needed to translate accurately on the printed page.
The challenge was to preserve that technical precision while creating images with enough character to stand on their own editorially. Lighting and composition were used to reveal the structure of each piece, from its surface and layers to the finer details of its construction.
Use & Communication
The work was published through So Good’s international platform, reaching chefs and pastry professionals worldwide. Beyond the feature itself, the editorial gives Nicolas Nikolakopoulos a lasting published record of his work within one of the industry’s most recognised specialist titles.

Editorial Context from
So Good Magazine
Pastry and chemistry converge in the work of Greek chef Nicolas Nikolakopoulos, who transitioned from a background in chemistry to a career focused on chocolate and refined pastry. His approach treats pastry as a form of storytelling, where structure, balance, and experimentation shape each creation.
The editorial feature follows his participation in the World Chocolate Masters 2022, where he achieved third place under the sponsorship of Philippe Marand. Within the pages of So Good magazine, Nikolakopoulos presents two conceptual creations that reflect his narrative-driven methodology and technical precision.
