Residential Architectural Project in Taygetus | Yoik by Z-Level
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Yoik by Z-Level architects is a contemporary residential project on the eastern slopes of Mount Taygetus, within a protected Natura 2000 landscape.
The architecture introduces a new inhabitable layer above the remains of a historic stone structure, creating a clear relationship between the original vernacular foundations and the contemporary intervention.
Production focus
The photography focused on how the building unfolds across the site and connects to the surrounding terrain. The sequence of volumes, transitions between materials and the way the structure sits within the landscape were central to the visual approach.
Particular attention was given to the contrast between the heavier stone elements and the lighter contemporary additions, as well as the modular rhythm of the architecture and the way it frames the mountain landscape.
Use & Communication
The final images were created for architectural publication, project presentation and long-term digital communication.
The set documents both the design itself and its relationship with the surrounding landscape, preserving the balance between structure, material and site.
Seen on Archdaily, this project is part of our Architectural and Interior projects.
