ABOUT THE PROJECT
Boutique hotel project in Astypalaia
Chrysalis Hotel is a boutique hospitality project located on the island of Astypalaia, conceived as an intimate accommodation experience shaped by Dodecanese architectural character and a strong physical presence on the cliffs of Gialos. The property combines considered design with a relaxed island sensibility, positioning itself as a discreet destination within its landscape.

Our photography and film documentation aims in capturing the property as it is experienced, from interior atmospheres and material detail to exterior presence and relationship with the surrounding environment. The resulting imagery elevates the hotel’s visual identity and redefines its communication.
Hospitality Approach
The hospitality concept centers on simplicity, privacy, and calm. Design decisions prioritize flow, proportion, and comfort, creating an environment that supports a measured and unforced guest experience. Our visual approach aligns with this ethos, using natural island light and composition to reflect the rhythm and character of the property without exaggeration.
Positioning & Intent
The visual production was commissioned to support the hotel’s rebranding and new season launch, consolidating Chryssalis Hotel’s positioning as a contemporary boutique destination. The imagery establishes clarity and consistency across communication channels, aligning the property with the expectations of design-conscious travelers and hospitality operators.
This project is part of our hotel photography work, documenting boutique hospitality properties across Greece.
