ABOUT THE PROJECT

Callebaut NXT campaign film

This campaign film was commissioned by Callebaut to introduce NXT, its plant-based chocolate developed for professional pastry applications. The production brought together pastry chefs Minette Smith, Philippe Marand, Michalis Karouzos, Michalis Hatzikalimeris, Babis Polykateros and Nektarios Vourikis in a creative relay challenge where each participant received the previous creation and responded with a new interpretation using NXT chocolate.

Production Approach

Rather than presenting the product through conventional demonstrations, the film was structured around a relay format that encouraged experimentation and creativity. Each segment followed a different chef working with NXT, creating a sequence where techniques, textures and flavour ideas evolved from one participant to the next.

Presentation Outcome

The resulting film positions NXT within a professional pastry environment, demonstrating how the chocolate performs across different creative approaches. The project also reflects a production model where narrative format and visual structure are developed alongside filming, allowing the campaign to function both as documentation and as a creative brand asset used across social media to engage pastry professionals and introduce the new product to the market.

This project is part of our Film Productions. Our work with Callebaut also includes the World Chocolate Masters film, documenting the Southeastern Europe semi-final of the international competition.
